It may seem odd to talk about death when you are looking forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus but one of the main purposes of the life of Jesus Christ was to give us eternal life.
I can only imagine what it would be like to meet Jesus, share a meal, and be around him 24/7. This is what brings me joy. We are blessed to have the assurance of eternal life and to know our future.
One of my favorite songs is “I Can Only Imagine” by Mercy Me. The song reflects on how we will react to meeting Jesus in heaven. For me, I dream my head is resting on his shoulder as we dance in the moonlight.

Hey Lucy! Love it. It occured to me recently, probably because of something that was said in a sermon that when we have communion it’s like God inviting us to have a nice dinner with him complete with wine! Now I enjoy communion even more.
